Fife Childcare and Early Years Strategy believes all work with children, in the childcare sector and elsewhere, should be of the highest standard.

The Resource Base was established to help ensure that this is a realistic vision.

The Resource Base offers a wide range of equipment for loan to groups working with children and young people for a small membership fee.

The following categories of equipment are available from the Resource Base:

Physical; Imagination; Art; Media; Construction; Music; Education; Games.

The service is available to groups working with children, such as:

• Private nurseries
• Childminders
• Out of School Clubs
• Nurseries
• Playgroups
• Youth clubs and Children's clubs.
